About this home

This fabulous house has wonderful views over the mill pond, river Burn and the surrounding water meadows.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the many coastal birds and various wildlife that frequent this area from the comfort of your own private first floor balcony.

The ground floor is principally the entrance hallway from which an oak staircase leads up to first floor.

Here you will find a lovely dual aspect vaulted sitting/dining room that runs the full width of the building.

Allocated parking for two cars is available in the parking area shared by three houses. This is less than a minute’s walk away from the house.
Enjoying stunning long distance views to either side, with french to doors open on the south side to a decked balcony at the back of the mill, just the place to take a seat as the sun sets and enjoy a glass of wine.

When the days draw in, snuggle up beside the wood burning stove and catch up on the day’s events.

Next door a country-style kitchen, fitted with handmade solid wood units, has a useful serving hatch through to the dining area, and a pretty window view of the mill pond to the front of the house.

The master bedroom (with a king-size bed), one of three bedrooms, is also on this floor, and has use of an adjoining bathroom.

The remaining two bedrooms (king-size and twin) are upstairs on the second floor, with a family bathroom sitting between the two.

Outside the house, you have use of a sunny decked area with a table and chairs overlooking the river and countryside beyond – an alternative dining option on warmer days.

Water Mill House is a true walkers and bird watchers hideaway – barn owls, marsh harriers, kingfishers, and huge skeins of winter geese and wildfowl can often be seen overhead.

When you can tear yourself away, paths right from the front of the mill lead to North Norfolk’s wonderful winding coastal path that stretches for miles in either direction, with marshes teeming with birdlife and sandy beaches beyond, with pubs and pretty villages along the way.
