Charming characterful holiday home ideal for young families, couples and friends located in a prime position facing The Buttlands in one of the most sought-after areas in Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk coast.
Approached via its own private front garden that includes a small seating area looking out onto green, just a few minutes walk from restaurants, cafes, shops and Wells Quay.
Interiors nod to the home’s seaside location, with creams and light blues in the rooms, while a log-burning fire in the lounge will keep you warm on colder days.
Whip up delicious meals in the kitchen, with a sofa bench perfect for little ones to cuddle up on.
Just off the kitchen, there’s a warm and cosy living room with two sofas to sit back on a relax after a busy day explore the coast.
If cooking is off the cards, it’s a two-minute stumble to either pub, or try the nearby fish and chips, best eaten on the home’s patio while watching the world go by.
The master bedroom comes with a double bed
The second bedroom has a single bed, the fourth bed is a pull-out bed from underneath the single – though this is only big enough for a child and stops the door of the room from closing.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and WC.
As well as the little front patio area, there is also an enclosed back terrace which is shared with the owners of the house (and their dog).
There is fee on street parking around the green close to the property.
From the picturesque harbour (where crabbing is a must) you can either walk, take the narrow-gauge railway or drive to the spectacular beach with its famous array of colourful beach huts.
Stop at the Beach Cafe afterwards for a drink and snack – you can also hose down a sandy dog! Wells has a pretty, leafy green peaceful square, The Buttlands, which is surrounded by fine Georgian buildings.
Staithe Street, the bustling high street, has all kind of independent shops, some lovely tearooms, great gastro pubs and restaurants and you’ll also find The Wells Maltings, North Norfolk’s Landmark Cultural Centre with exciting events all year round.
This beautiful coastline is a top destination for birders and walkers all year round.
