Family holiday. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Tudor Cottage very much with our family. We planned the half term break away with our two daughters, son-in-laws and four Grandchildren to celebrate my retirement. The cottage was perfect, very comfortable and in an excellent position to enjoy walking to the quayside in minutes. Many thanks to the owner for letting us stay in their lovely property.

Wells-next-the-Sea is a hub for North Norfolk coastal activities.
From the picturesque harbour (where crabbing is a must) you can either walk, take the narrow-gauge railway or drive to the spectacular beach with its famous array of colourful beach huts. Stop at the Beach Cafe afterwards for a drink and snack – you can also hose down a sandy dog!
Wells has a pretty, leafy green peaceful square,The Buttlands, which is surrounded by fine Georgian buildings. There is a bustling high street with all kind of independent shops, some lovely tearooms, great gastro pubs and restaurants.
This beautiful coastline is a top destination for birders and walkers all year round.
