The Old Bakery
Blakeney, North Norfolk
The Old Bakery is a charming brick & flint holiday cottage located in the heart of Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast, just a 300 yard walk away from the quay.
This spacious and well proportioned house dates from 1890 and its walls are typical Norfolk flint. An attractive cottage that has a delightful mixture of contemporary and antique furniture and the piano in the sitting room is sure to be popular.
The Old Bakery sleeps six and has recently undergone total refurbishment. Furnished with natural materials and calm colours, it is equipped with all that you will need (including crab-fishing lines!) for a restful break.
The sitting room is a large comfortable room with a wood-burning stove, stripped-wooden floors, large window to the front, front door, large window seat. The super kitchen/dining room is the heart of the home and the pretty courtyard garden is just the place for that well deserved glass of wine at the end of a fun filled day.
There’s also a fabulous sun room, this a spacious sunny space looking out over the rear courtyard. Two wicker sofas, a table and 6 chairs mean that meals can be taken here or in the spacious kitchen. Outside in the courtyard, the garden furniture affords enjoyment of this suntrap.
There is a ground floor double/ twin bedroom, with two further bedrooms on the first floor one of these the master. The family bathroom is spacious and well appointed with large walk-in shower with drench-head, WC, large pedestal basin and long deep bath.
Most unusually for Blakeney the cottage has parking for one car and there is a reserved space in a nearby car park. Shops/Pubs & Restaurant: all within walking distance.
