A stunning, romantic hideaway made just for two in Old Hunstanton on the North Norfolk coast and only a five minute walk to the wide-open sandy beach.
The Experience
This oak A-framed barn not only sits in an area of natural beauty, with fabulous views across a stream to water meadows beyond that teems with wildlife.
Constructed to high standards in 2017 using local materials, The BeeHive is tucked away on a quiet lane and, with it’s fully glazed frontage, offers both outstanding views and light-filled living.
The superb, spacious open plan living area on the ground floor comprises a very well-equipped fitted kitchen, with a large island with dining area to two sides dividing the room.
Take a seat on the sofa in the sitting area, and you can simply soak up the view. Bring your binoculars and you might well spot a barn owl quartering in the dusk – or at dawn, if you are an early bird! or a marsh harrier hunting across the meadows.
Open stairs lead to the first floor master suite with king-size bed and en-suite shower. Doors open to a decked balcony with a bistro table. The perfect spot for breakfast or a glass of wine as you watch the sun go down.
With a glorious beach within easy walking distance, an 18-hole championship golf course a two-minute walk away, great pubs and a Michelin starred restaurant just around the corner, an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep and beautiful country houses to visit nearby.
The BeeHive offers something for everyone, at any time of the year.

Old Hunstanton is a rarity along the North Norfolk coast in that you can get very close to the beach without walking a long way over the salt marshes! Miles of sand, gentle sand dunes and beach huts make this a perfect family seaside holiday destination.
For the more active, Old Hunstanton has become a mecca for Kite Surfing and Hunstanton Golf Course, a challenging links course is voted amongst the top 100 courses in Britain.
Old Hunstanton has an abundance of great places to eat, all within walking distance of our holiday cottages, including The Neptune, a Michelin-starred restaurant; The Lodge Hotel and The Mariners Arms, plus of course there is the ever-popular beach cafe, great for a good fry up or lunchtime snack!
