East Runton, North Norfolk
A fabulous recently refurbished holiday cottage in the heart of the seaside town of East Runton, close to Cromer and Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast.
Silvergate Cottage is an attractive, traditional brick and flint cottage that has been completely refurbished and while character features such as beams have been retained, there is a modern contemporary feel to the property.
The living area is open plan, bright and airy with plenty of space for everyone. Charming with a distinct nautical feel, you can relax in comfort after a day exploring the coast and having fun at the local beach. There is a table and four chairs close to the well appointed kitchen.
The kitchen has everything you’ll need during your stay, you can also access the courtyard through the stable door from here. The family bathroom is located on the ground floor, this fairy common in these characterful brick and flint cottages.
Upstairs you’ll discover the master bedroom that is deceptively roomy, with exposed beams and plenty of character. Next to this is the second bedroom, a twin with two single beds.
There is a sunny, enclosed courtyard garden for alfresco dining. The wonderful, large, sandy beach at East Runton is less than a five minute walk away.
This is a well-equipped, cosy cottage in which to enjoy a fabulous holiday at any time of the year. There are two pubs, a Greek restaurant, local shops and post office all within easy walking distance.

Characterful brick & flint cottage, bright and roomy we love this wonderfully charming property.
Great location with the local beach being a five minute walk away.
East Runton lies on the A149 coast road between the resorts of Sheringham and Cromer. A lane leads down to the beach where at low tide there is a wide expanse of flat sand perfect for sandcastles or ball games.
The beach is backed by high cliffs and there are paths into Cromer or the neighbouring village of West Runton. Away from the coast is a cluster of traditional brick and flint cottages, and an attractive green and duck pond. The village is well placed for exploring the area but if you wish to remain closer to home there are several small shops, two pubs and a restaurant serving meals.
