About this home
A cosy hideaway where everything this vibrant seaside town has to offer is right on your doorstep, comfortable in every season, with a private courtyard garden that’s perfect for relaxed summer evenings.
On the ground floor, a beautifully crafted DeVol kitchen sets the tone, complete with integrated appliances and a window seat for watching the world go by. A neat laundry cupboard hides a washer dryer and space for boots.
The open-plan design flows into a dining nook with built-in bench seating and on to the bright, comfortable lounge with a smart TV and two vintage armchairs set in front of an Everhot electric stove, so you’ll feel very cosy.
Large glazed French doors open onto the walled south-west facing courtyard with colourful pots, giving you space to eat, read, or unwind.
Upstairs, the light-filled bedroom retains plenty of character with oiled timber floors, roof lights, and bespoke shutters. The king-size bed can also be arranged as twins if preferred.
Through an original reed-and-bead timber door, the adjoining wet room has a brick slip floor and overhead rain shower, creating a stylish and practical space after days on the beach.
With the beach and pier just moments away, Shrimp makes the perfect base to explore Cromer and the North Norfolk coast. Cafés, bars, and restaurants are all within easy reach, while the cottage itself remains a peaceful bolthole to return to after a day by the sea.
