Behind the rather modest exterior hides an uber stylish, contemporary couples retreat just moments from both the local beach and RSPB Snettisham on the fabulous North Norfolk coast.
A superbly renovated and immaculately presented bungalow situated on a peaceful private road and in an ideal spot for bird watchers and, equally, a romantic getaway for two.
Sands Cottage has been completely modernised and now offers smart, luxury contemporary open plan living combining the kitchen, living and dining areas.
The impressive kitchen is fitted with built-in ceiling speakers, a Gaggenau oven and automatic 200 series espresso machine – a coffee aficionados dream! Airy and light, the dual aspect living area benefits from doors to both sides, giving access to the front and rear garden, which is fully enclosed and offers complete privacy.
Adjoining the living space, a stunning king-size bedroom and an up-to-the-minute bathroom complete the scene. Suitable for all year round holidays, in the warmer months you can take advantage of the garden room and, on cooler days, light the wood burning stove, snuggle down and be lovely and cosy.
The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone, whatever your age and whatever the weather!
There is easy access to some wonderful beaches, fabulous birdwatching at both RSPB Snettisham and Titchwell, lovely coastal and inland walks, cycling on the Peddars Way, and Sandringham House is just around the corner.
Snettisham is a coastal village to the south of Hunstanton, also home to the RSPB reserve on the coast of The Wash. Many migratory birds descend there during the winter months and the skeins of geese honking and clattering is one of the iconic Norfolk sights.
Snettisham has a great pub, The Rose and Crown. It serves good food and has an enclosed garden with a children’s adventure play area.
The village is well served with amenities including chemist, a local shop, hairdressers and second hand book shop, perfect for browsing away a couple of hours! There is a Bistro style restaurant, The Old Bank Cafe, on the market square; take your own wine at no extra charge.
