Sleeping six in total, the layout of this elegant house works very well either for full occupancy, with spacious living areas, and generous-sized bedrooms, or it works just as well for a couple on their own who like a bit more space.
The ground floor has a very well-equipped dining kitchen with doors leading out to the garden. The sitting room, also dual aspect, on the other side of the entrance hall, has sumptuous sofas to sink into, inviting you to take a seat, chat about the day, watch the television or read a book. This room has doors opening to the garden too.
On the first floor are three bedrooms;
The Master comes with 4’6″ double bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle.
Bedroom two comes with a 4’6″ double bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers.
Bedroom three has a 3′ single truckle bed, with second 3′ pull out mattress beneath, ideal for two children sharing the room.
There is a family bathrooms with bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
The sunny, fully enclosed garden at the back of house has wonderful open views across adjoining fields and provides a peaceful and private additional relaxation space.
Samphire House sits in a quiet cul-de-sac in the village of Bodham, just a few miles east of the lovely Georgian town of Holt, on the road to Cromer, and three miles or so inland of the coast at Weybourne and Sheringham.
The village also has the benefit of a great pub just around the corner, handy for a bite to eat and perhaps an opportunity to meet some of the locals.
There is space on the driveway for two cars.
No equipment provided for infants, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Bodham is conveniently situated just a few miles east of Holt, and offers easy access to North Norfolk’s coastline, its glorious beaches and many delightful villages.
With a thriving ‘proper’ pub, The Red Hart, Bodham has a strong community feel, and the village holds lots of events in and around hall. There’s also a playing field with children’s play area and adult outdoor gym equipment so you can all let off steam together.
The surrounding countryside is a mixture of heathland, woodland and rolling farmland. You can walk to the two to three miles to the coast through the beautiful Sheringham Park National Trust land or equally pretty Kelling Heath.
Sheringham and Holt are less than three miles in either direction, both excellent little towns for shopping, eating and exploring.
