Located on the outskirts of Burnham Market village on the North Norfolk coast and in easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants & shops. Railway Cottage 1 comes with a luxurious interior with quality furnishings, a fabulous treat for a weekend or a longer holiday.
The Experience
This 'posh pad' features open-plan living consisting of a kitchen, sitting room and dining area; it also comes with three sumptuously decorated bedrooms, a king, double and twin, all with luxury en-suites.
The Railway Cottages are built on the land where the Railway Station used to stand, which closed in 1957.
Furnished with quality linens, velvets and wall coverings in a cool palette of blues, greys and yellows it comes with plump sofas, roomy walk-in showers, flat screen televisions; and everything that you will need in a home from home.
In the summer months take advantage of the secluded fully-enclosed south facing rear garden with its delightful terrace where you can relax and dine alfresco.
You will see references to the history of the railway in photos and paintings in the cottage. From the rear garden you can see the old Railway Carriage sitting on its tracks behind gates, making this quite a unique place to stay.
Just a 10-minute stroll through the village to all Burnham Market’s famous eateries; such as No.Twenty9, The Hoste and Socius; and all its lovely independent coffee shops, cafe’s and deli’s, you will be spoilt for choice on where to dine.
To take advantage of your excellent self-catering facilities, there is ample opportunity to buy and shop local too. Make sure that you head out early to buy fresh bread, croissants and coffee from the bakery.
Also take time to visit Gurney’s fishmonger’s, Howell’s The Butchers and Utting’s grocery store, where you can buy all the fresh produce you could wish for to make your self-catering stay truly special.
From a practical point of view there is off-road parking In front of the cottage for two vehicles.
