Knot Cottage is a real hidden gem; a contemporary bolthole in Brancaster Staithe on the North Norfolk coast, tucked away in a quiet position just off the main coast road.
A traditional build, with a modern twist, providing open plan living space with a real sense of style. With quality fittings and furnishings, and is complete with a log burner.
The main living area is full height and, with tri-fold doors to the front, you can really let the outside in. A bespoke oak and glass staircase leads to the mezzanine level above, which can be used as a sleeping space or a relaxing spot to read.
With wooden flooring throughout the dining table seats up to four, a comfortable modern style corner sofa with cosy cushions and a fabulous log burner for those cosy nights in.
Stylish well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/combined dryer.
There is parking on the private area outside the cottage. Please note this is a shared driveway and there is only parking for one car. Enclosed garden with small lawned area and paved patio.
You can walk for miles from your door along the coast path or cycle the quiet lanes inland, then come home to The White Horse or the Jolly Sailors, both within walking distance.
The location of Knot Cottage really is ideal for exploring the varied coast.
We love staying here, we try and visit every year. Ideal location for wildlife and such a beautiful cottage.

Just a couple of minutes drive from Brancaster, home to Brancaster Staithe Sailing Club, the harbour is a busy place for this coastal village. Fresh seafood and coffee can be had from the shed on the quay (in high season) or you can go up to The Jolly Sailors where children, muddy dogs and boots are welcomed.
The Fish Shed gives you the opportunity to take home some great local produce. Kayaks and boats can be hired from Northshore Sport and Leisure. Brancaster Staithe is right on the Norfolk Coast Path. Fresh mussels can be bought on the quay direct from the fishermen, or try Mervyn in the village, he will have a sign out!
