There's a lot to love about this converted barn in the heart of the Norfolk countryside and its peaceful setting, surrounded by woodlands, water meadows and gardens are just the beginning. Explore the Norfolk Broads from your doorstep or how about a game of Tennis? This place has it all.
This lovely home in the Broads is complete with water access as its on the River Bure, adventurous types can bring a canoe or paddle board, and even paddle along to the nearby riverside pub.
Indoors, it’s a bright and modern space, with a sociable living area and stylish kitchen – complete with a huge island.
Patio doors open to a private terrace, and we love the vaulted ceilings and stripped-back original beams.
There’s a bedroom on the ground floor, with direct access outside, and the family bathroom is on that level too, while the master and third bedroom are upstairs (the third having a unique, low level window overlooking the dining room).
The lovely master bedroom has a super king sized bed with ensuite walking shower and toilet
Bedroom two and three with two single beds in each and have the usage of the further two bathrooms one with a walk in shower the other with a bath.
Bedroom Three can have the twin singles made into a king size bed if required.
With fifteen acres of land to explore, there are great walks to be had from your doorstep, and here you’ll be about twenty minutes by car from Norwich in one direction, and the stunning Norfolk coast in the other.
Private parking on the driveway is provided, and a car is recommended for exploring the area
While some parts of the east of England are less than an hour from London, others feel so remote that they could be days away.
The fenland landscape is unique, and there’s rich history across the region.
Norfolk has the best of both worlds – you get long sandy beaches and inland there’s forests, marshes and medieval villages.
While Norwich is quickly gaining a reputation as a cultural hub, the region in general feels remarkably quiet and isolated.
