You’ll be hard pressed to find such a super, stylish little holiday cottage in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea that’s got a better view of the Quay than this one.
The Experience
Situated at the far end of Wells harbour, this lovely character cottage enjoys fabulous views from both the kitchen and master bedroom across the Quay towards the marsh and sea beyond.
Refurbished in 2018, Creek Cottage has been sympathetically updated and furnished in a low key relaxing style with comfort foremost in mind.
There are two bedrooms (double and twin) on the first floor, along with a shower room, and down on the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen/diner, cosy sitting room and a further bathroom.
Outside is a small courtyard garden with seating. Perfect for enjoying a relaxing glass of wine or two at the end of a busy day.
This bijou cottage is a true delight and is sure to be a very popular holiday choice for families, couples and friends. And there’s a parking space too. Bingo!
Step out of the front door of Creek Cottage and you are just a two minute walk from the heart of this popular seaside town – Staithe Street, with its eclectic mix of cafes, restaurants and independent shops to browse selling absolutely everything.
If you have left something behind, worry not, you will find it here and when you want to eat out, you are spoilt for choice with eateries to choose from.
Please note:
Creek Cottage has steep Norfolk winder stairs, which might not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, and little ones may also find them tricky to negotiate. There is a door at the bottom and a stairgate at the top of the stairs.

We were thrilled with Creek Cottage right from the start. A lovely warm welcome.Wells is such an interesting place, lots to do and places to visit in easy reach. More than enough good places to eat out or everything you need to eat in. Thank you .

Wells-next-the-Sea is a charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forest.
A visit to Wells wouldn’t be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside, or simply relaxing and watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish and chip cuisine.
At full tide the harbour comes alive with fishing boats unloading their catch and local sailors setting out and returning from a day’s sailing.
