Bed & Breakfast
College Farm is a medieval family home situated in the village of Thompson three miles from the Norfolk market town of Watton, a grand yet cosy farmhouse where you’re encouraged to feel at home.
Sleep well in charming bedrooms with smooth linen, pretty furniture and garden views. College Farm has 3 double bedrooms, all with private or ensuite bathrooms and is ideally situated as a base for touring Norfolk as well as Norwich, Cambridge and Ely.
The beautiful farmhouse tucks itself away on the edge of the village and the big friendly kitchen is filled with fabulous smells of home baking. A delicious homemade, locally sourced breakfast is served by the large wood-burner in the grand Jacobean dining room, filled with good antiques, period furnishings and cosy places to sit; food is home-grown, seasonal and local. Supper is also available by request
College Farm Bed & Breakfast is well located as a base for visiting Norfolk’s many attractions including historic houses and gardens, beaches and towns, and bird watching reserves. We are located next to Peddars Way and College Farm is ideal as a stopover for anyone walking or riding along Peddars Way.
Thetford Forest is nearby and the market towns of Thetford, Attleborough, Watton, Swaffham and Dereham are also within easy driving distance.
A fascinating area teeming with pingos, wildlife, old churches… and glorious antique shops.
