This charming carrstone Victorian holiday cottage is a hidden treasure and offers wonderful parkland views with an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep.
The Experience
Surrounded by a moat, and with extensive grounds, Coachman’s Cottage has been totally refurbished and is sensitively styled to ensure its period essence is retained.
Cosy, comfortable and well-equipped, with an L-shaped dual aspect open plan living on the ground floor which has a choice of electric and wood burning stoves to supplement the heating when the nights draw in.
Upstairs there are two inviting bedrooms, one master with 4’6″ double bed and the other a twin with full-size 3′ beds. Both come with decorative fireplaces and sunny views, and a family bathroom.
Outside is an enclosed, south facing fenced garden to the front of the house with a seating area. The garden extends through a gateway to a further seating area and walkway alongside of the moat.
Parking available for two cars on the driveway.
Coachman’s Cottage is a gem of a property and the perfect bolthole for a couple, small family or a solo traveller seeking a tranquil, picturesque holiday retreat.
Ideal for walkers, birdwatchers, beach lovers and foodies. Once discovered, you are sure to return.

A beautiful property in a special location. The house is comfortable with quality beds and bedding and lots of fine detail. Original artworks, peaceful views, all in a unique location. Lovely.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Coachman’s cottage. The location was stunning, with so much wildlife in the surrounding area including hares, deer and sheep. The cottage included everything we needed to make our stay super easy, especially the cot and highchair for our 6 month old daughter. Great base for exploring the whole coast. Highly recommended
