Wells-next-the-Sea is a hub for North Norfolk coastal activities. From the picturesque harbour (where crabbing is a must) you can either walk, take the narrow-gauge railway or drive to the spectacular beach, with its famous array of colourful beach huts and pinewood forest.
Stop at the Beach Cafe afterwards for a drink and snack – you can also hose down a sandy dog!
There is a bustling high street with all kind of independent shops, some lovely tearooms, great gastro pubs and restaurants.
This beautiful coastline is a top destination for birders and walkers all year round.
