Location

Incorporated into the barn walls are stones from the 13th century ruins of Bromholm Priory, mentioned in Chaucer’s ‘A Reeve’s Tale’ and once believed to be home to the True Cross, which is a really special feature. Another is the ‘Soul Pad’ tent which is available for use in high summer months.

Ridlington is a small rural hamlet on the East Coast of Norfolk, about a mile inland from the coast, and with easy access to the Norfolk Broads. The nearest sandy beaches are at Happisburgh, Walcott and Mundesley – a visit to see the seals at Waxham and Horsey in the winter months is highly recommended – and Cromer, with its famous pier, is just nine miles away.
