Beck Cottage is a lovely holiday cottage close to the North Norfolk coast with a modern stylish, rustic interior and the addition of a fab outdoor Garden Room.
Beck Cottage overlooks the little river Burn that meanders through the pretty village of South Creake, and sits opposite the village green; this is where the village ducks have made their home!
South Creake is a charming North Norfolk village and only a short drive to the coast with the nearest beaches being at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-Next-The-Sea
A double fronted end terrace flint cottage, beautifully furnished throughout with understated style and comfort in mind. Enter the front door and you walk into an attractive open plan dual aspect living space; the comfortable sitting area enjoys a view of the village, a squashy L-shaped sofa and a log burner, which will keep you extra warm and cosy in cooler months.
At the far end of the room, a compact but well-equipped and well-planned kitchen overlooks the landscaped rear garden. The separate dining room is perfect for lazy dining, day and night and, in keeping with a cottage of this age, the bathroom is also downstairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms (a double and twin).
The low maintenance garden is fully enclosed and safe for little ones to play. The main feature is the Garden Room which is furnished with two sofas – a rather lovely spot to sit on summer evenings with a glass of wine or anytime when you want some quiet space.
Beck Cottage is a rather romantic spot for two, but will also suit a small family or friends looking for a break away together.
Spent a long weekend at Beck Cottage and enjoyed every minute - cosy, comfortable and contemporary. Thank you for the recommendations - in particular lunch at Stanhoe and Creake Abbey. Would love to return in the near future.

South Creake is a charming North Norfolk village.
The river Burn runs through the village and there is an open green with playing field, football field, tennis courts – and lots of ducks!
The village pub is The Plume of Feathers which serves food and sells some basic provisions. In North Creake (about one mile away) is The Jolly Farmers, a lovely traditional pub serving great home cooked food and just outside the village on the way to Burnham Market is Creake Abbey which has an interesting array of artisan shops, a fantastic food hall and cafe and a very popular farmers market on the first Saturday each month.
