In the pretty coastal village of Thornham on the Norfolk coast, Ashdale is a beautifully relaxed and stylish holiday cottage providing fantastic peaceful escape retreat.
This pretty cottage is in one of the best spots in Thornham and offers a wonderful escape from everyday life. The owner has taken great care to furnish the cottage with luxury linens and soft furnishings to make it somewhere special to come and stay.
Not only is it a gloriously comfortable and welcoming cottage, it also has the added bonus of being in easy walking distance of the harbour and beach, as well as three fabulous pub/restaurants and an award-winning deli.
Open the door to Ashdale and you’re greeted with a spacious boot room, leading into a fabulously stylish and well-equipped shaker-style painted kitchen with a farmhouse table and chairs.
The sitting room is cosy and comfortable with a wall-mounted fire and huge squashy sofa to relax on, making it perfect for creating holiday togetherness. With French doors to the terrace, you can let the sunshine in.
Ashdale has three beautifully-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom has a fabulous boutique feel with large headboard and super King size bed. Plus of course it provides some gorgeous views of the marsh and sea.
The second bedroom is equally decadent and has zip-and-link beds that can be made up as twins.. Whilst the third double bedroom is equally stylish. And with two bathrooms, it makes it easy for everyone to get up and out on a morning too.
There is parking for three cars in the private gravelled driveway and there is fully-enclosed lawned garden too.
A welcome break in a beautiful cottage in a serene location. Amazing views over the marshes! Fabulouosly clean cottage and was so well-equipped. Thank you so much.

Thornham is picturesque yet vibrant and is an old smuggling village right on the North Norfolk Coast. Wide expanses of salt marsh separate the village from the sea and it is a paradise for walkers and bird watchers.
The beach, reached by a walk past the harbour and over the salt marshes, is stunning and you will be rewarded by peace and quiet whatever time of year you are visiting. Outside of the village you will find other spectacular beaches; Old Hunstanton; Holme-next-the-Sea, Titchwell & Brancaster, where a few miles further don’t miss probably the best beach in the UK at Holkham.
