Sleeping four guests, and also welcoming a couple of contented canines, this delightful, period abode sits right at the heart of colourful Wells-next-the-Sea and has been finished to offer great comfort as well as character.

Make your way up two steps and in through the front door of this charming retreat.

The heart of the holiday home is its open-plan lounge/diner, where you can take some time out after your busy days exploring North Norfolk, perhaps switching on the Smart TV and lighting the wood burner during the colder months.

Wander through to the kitchen to prepare homecooked meals with the fresh produce you have bought in Wells, then serve it up at the table in the lounge/diner.

You have a useful washing machine in an outbuilding.

As night falls, climb the steep, winding, cottage-style stairs up to the first or second floor, each with a king-size bedroom that can also be made up as 2’ 6” twin beds if requested in advance.

Find a family bathroom at the first-floor level, while a family shower room is on the second floor.

Take in the sea air out in the courtyard whenever the weather permits. Dine at the table out here on occasion.

Wander out to find an abundance of eateries and independent shops or stroll down to the quay, less than 50 metres away, to go crabbing and have fish and chips.

Pack a beach bag and venture 1 mile down to picturesque Wells Beach with its stretching sands, where your four-legged friends can join you in certain areas throughout the year.
