1 Honeymoon Row
Wells-next-the-Sea, North Norfolk
A fabulous holiday cottage only a few minutes’ walk from the Quayside and just a two minute stroll from the picturesque Buttlands green in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea in the North Norfolk coast.
1 Honeymoon Row is a charming 300-year-old end terrace holiday cottage with a pretty, sunny enclosed garden.
This delightful character cottage now has full central heating and double glazing, as well as a newly fitted dining kitchen overlooking the garden. The sitting room is cosy and comfortable, with a large gas ‘stove’, and just invites relaxation at the end of an active day out and about exploring.
Steep Norfolk winder stairs (there is a twisted grab rail top to bottom) lead to the first floor with two bedrooms, both of which have comfy double beds, and a smart bathroom..
Originally a warehouse, Honeymoon Row was used as a temporary home to the Fisher Theatre Company at the turn of the 18/19th century. The gentle incline of the Row suggests that No. 1 was used as the stage area. By 1816 the building had been converted into a row of terraced cottages.
